Excellent edition and I love Sartwell's treatment of Wu-Wei.
I used to be biased in my preference of Tao te Ching translations. Once I found Stephen Mitchell's translation/interpretation, I thought none could match it. And true enough, none could match its elequence, simplicity, and poetic resonance. But since then, as I move deeper into nonduality teachings, I find it lacking in precision.This new translation, I think, seems more like it came from the lips of an actual Master. It retains, and is playful with, the seeming paradox of the Truth or Way, and thus doing what cannot be done. Slicing its way to emptiness itself.J. Krishnamurti stopped my thinking mind 28 years ago. This translation may very well continue the important work of awakening us to our original, empty minds.Kudos to the beings, both past and present, who brought this book about.
